SMS template

What is an SMS template?

The SMS template can be used to send a reply-to-message to your contacts when they are registering for the first time, if you want to give them a confirmation after signing up, or a coupon as a reward for signing up. Here you create the text, sender name and if you want to attach a campaign link. It can be used in a mobile landing page campaign, email campaign, web form or it can be connected directly to a keyword.

How to use:

To create a SMS template you click on your username, template settings, and then SMS.

Here you choose "Create New Template"

Now you create the template name - so you know what template to attach to the campaigns later. Create a sender name, add a campaign and then you create the text. In this text you can use the merging function. Click here to see the merging codes.

Then save the template by clicking on the red "save" button.

To add it to your sign up form in your mobile landing page you have to add mobile number as a field and then select "single opt-in", "SMS" and then you choose the template. When your contacts now hit the "submit" button they will receive the SMS template you created.
